I’m Derrick Russell, a Tennessee REALTOR® with Haus Realty and Management in Clarksville. My approach to real estate is shaped by a career built around service, responsibility, and helping people navigate important transitions.Before entering real estate, I served more than 20 years in the United States Army. My military career included six duty stations, four combat deployments, and numerous TDY assignments. Those experiences gave me firsthand knowledge of the challenges that can come with moving, relocating a family, and adjusting to a new community. That background is especially valuable when I work with military families, VA buyers, and clients navigating PCS relocations in the Fort Campbell area.Education has also been an important part of my professional journey. I earned an Associate Degree from Central Texas College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Austin Peay State University. After my military career, I worked as a Criminal Court Deputy Clerk at the Criminal Court Clerk’s Office in Nashville before deciding to pursue a career in real estate. In 2026, I also graduated from Faded University and became a licensed Master Barber.For the past three years, I’ve worked in Tennessee real estate, helping clients with buyer representation, seller and listing representation, residential real estate, first-time home purchases, new construction, relocation, and property management. I serve Clarksville and the Fort Campbell area as well as Montgomery, Stewart, Dickson, Cheatham, Robertson, and Davidson counties.I’ve continued to strengthen my real estate knowledge through professional education and hold the MRP — Military Relocation Professional, ABR® — Accredited Buyer’s Representative, SRS® — Seller Representative Specialist, and C2EX — Commitment To Excellence designations and certifications.Whether you’re purchasing your first home, using your VA benefits, relocating to or from the Fort Campbell area, building a new home, or preparing to sell, I understand that every real estate transaction comes with its own priorities and challenges.
